Like many companies around the world, VR Travel recognizes the United Nations Global Compact Guidelines. In the travel business, our workplace is the world, so it's only fitting that we take a global view. In addition, we choose to place special emphasis on Corporate Social Responsibility in ways that fit with our mission, vision and values, especially in the area of impartiality.
Therefore, VR Travel is conscious about its impartiality in relation to customers and suppliers. This means that unlike many travel agencies, we deliberately do not choose supplier contributions and incentives that affect your travel consultant's impartiality in advising you the best options for your trip. We give you multiple options and leave the final decision up to you. You are, after all, the one doing the traveling.
But recognizing the UN Global Compact also means that employees in our offices around the world are paid a fair wage, work reasonable hours and can feel safe in their workplaces. It also means that we are very conscious about environmental concerns, striving to have as little negative impact on the environment as is possible in the travel industry.
